Comments: Good recording although there's a slight whine due to over compression and slight distortion during the louder parts.

Comments: It's the final night for several of the original core cast so the audience is a little loud as is, unfortunately, the show which leads to noticeable distortion during the more rowdy parts of the performance. However, during the quieter parts the sounds is very good and you can hear the emotion during the ending of the show, as the leaving actors, get to say their final farewells to "Billy", one by one.

Comments: A very special performance of the show for a charity to support the school any real Billy Elliot would have gone to in Easington. Featuring the return of the final original Billy, who had 'retired' two months earlier as well as a short cameo by Elton John (although his line is covered by the audience cheering when they realize it's him) and the three X-Factor judges as the Royal Ballet School panel. The audience cheers and clap a lot and the performances are intense.

Comments: Great recording that sounds almost soundboard in places It's Trent's last show before he went back across the Atlantic to open in the Broadway production as referenced by "Michael" during "Expressing Yourself", during the 'goodbyes' in the finale and in Trent's voice during the reprise of "the Letter".

Comments: An emotional night during which longest serving "Billy" and other members of the cast gave their final performance. The sound is good a clear, although the cheering for the departing cast members can be rather loud. but that's what you'd expect from a night like this. complete with in jokes, many standing ovations and with the emotion clear in Layton's voice during "The Letter (reprise)"

Comments: This is an excellent audience recoding which is remarkable for three different reasons. The first is that it was made on the 4th birthday of the show. It was also the 1700th performance, and, not least, it marked the premier of the newest boy to play the title role who did a remarkable job receiving several standing ovations through the show..

Comments A very special show on the 5th anniversary of the first ever public preview of the show rather than on the anniversary of opening night as the others have been. There's speeches from the creative team to start, then the show as normal but then a very special encore. All former Billys but the five Americans. (Colin Bates, Corey Snide, Trent Kowalik, Hogan Fulton & Tanner Pflueger) appeared in order, starting with a standing ovation for the three originals. and ending with two still in "Billy School". They then dance - or most of them do - in and around each other an some "Michaels", before lining up, in appearance order along the front of the stage, to take bows. Naturally you can't see that on this audio, but you can hear it, and everything else.

Comments: Not the greatest recording it has to be said, as it varies from being too quiet during the dialogue to distorting during the louder musical sections.

But still its a nice example of the brief period when a "Billy" was bought down from London to cover for an original Aussie "Billy'" Nick Twiney who had fractured his wrist in previews. Corey Snide coping brilliantly with the differences.

Comments:  It's an emotional show for the final Australian show, both during the first "The Letter" and especially from the "Reprise" onward, but the extra finally with all Australian "Billys" - including the Sydney originals - and "Michaels". must have been fantastic to watch. There's quite a bit of audience noise - especially from the taper!! - but with the fan club in full attendance that's to be expected and doesn't detract from the show..

Comments: An emotional night as the second of the three original US Billy's gives his final performance with a noticeably broken voice and some very nice touches from the opening speech through some clearly tearful moments especially in 'the letter' where David becomes unable to sing a few lines, to Michael's final "See yeah David".

Comments: In an emotional high octane show, "Billy Elliot" bowed out on Broadway after 1,344 performances (inc previews), will all the current boys playing "Billy" (Tade Biesinger, Joseph Harrinton, Julian Elia, and Peter Mazurowski), those playing "Michael" & "Small & Tall Boys" rotating in and out as the show progressed. This is an audience recording of the entire thing, from the opening speeches by director Stephen Daldry, and writer Lee Hall through to the encore featuring a total of 12 past and present "Billys" including the three Broadway originals (David Álvarez, Kiril Kulish and Trent Kowalik.)
Audio is pretty clear. Only thing is there was A LOT of applause throughout the show with 5 standing ovations during Act I and 3 during Act II. With cheering marking most of the cast swaps, and the special things they did,such as having all four Billys perform the final pirouettes in "Solidarity" together.
