Broadway Shrek [1st preview] Broadway Theatre, New York, NYC, USA 8/11/08 AU 8 MP3

Comments: Single and very complete, untracked file of the first Broadway preview of the show, following it's transfer from the Seattle, try-outs and with several new, or re-worked songs.and some that would later be dropped. Just a shame it has been rather over compressed so there's some slight whine noises although overall,  it sounds very good for just 64kbps. and is totally untracked as one nearly 3hour file. which includes both pre-show audience chatter, and

similar during the interval. Note: There's a crashing noise just after the "I know brimstone" part  after "Travel song", is  a helmet falling off a skeleton Shrek was holding and into the taper's lap!!

Cast: Brian d'Arcy James as Shrek, Sutton Foster as Princess Fiona, Christopher Sieber as Lord Farquaad, Daniel Breaker as Donkey, John Tartaglia as Pinocchio / Magic Mirror / Dragon Puppeteer, Haven Burton as Sugar Plum Fairy / Gingy

Track Listing 23 minutes of pre show audience chatter Act1 Announcements, Overture, Big, Bright Beautiful World., Story of My Life, The Goodbye Song, Don't Let You Go, I Know It's Today, Things Are Looking Up in  Duloc, Travel Song, Donkey Pot Pie, This Is How a Dream Comes True, Who I'd Be - audience intermission chatter - Act2 Morning Person, I Think I Got You Beat, The Ballad of Farquaad, Make a Move, When Words Fail, Morning Person (Reprise), Build Me a Wall, Freak Flag, Big Bright Beautiful World (Reprise)
