Comments: This is quite simply outstanding. especially when you consider just when it was recorded. The sound, while clearly an audience recording is so clear. Show doesn't get off to a good start as the power cuts out  while they are improvising a "Yodel" of all things. Ian Paice then takes an impromptu drum solo while the others get their gear sorted out.

Comments: Very special show this one, and not for the right reason During the end of "Things I Never Said", Don's Hammond organ dies. Steve fills in for a minute while they try to fix it but it's dead. so for the rest of the show Don uses either his piano or synth instead This leads to drastically changes the sound on many of the songs. as can be heard in this wonderful recording.

Comments: Single camera filming roughly level to the stage, from the left at the front of the balcony. Good clear, unobstructed view of the entire stage although the angle does tend to omit Glover, who is stuck out on his own on the left to concentrate on Morse, Gillen and Airey some some very nice close up shots on Paice.  The stage lights are rather bright on Airey and Paice thought, leading to some wash out although those at the front of the stage fair much better. Sound is very good.

Comments: Originally live and direct FM radio broadcast by Radio Due RAI [Italian national radio] this show was spoilt by heavy DJ chatter that went on, and on, between tracks, and even over the first verse. This then is a re-edit, removing the DJs by fading tracks in and out. A near two second drop out in Highway Star has been removed. The results are really very good indeed.
