I've had tapes of the original BBC broadcast of the festival ever since it aired back in 1985.
There's a tape change after the first song as I recorded the entire festival broadcast

and just used the tapes as and when they filled up  but I've edited that out as much as possible.
Tommy Vance - the DJ - popped up after "Wishing Well" to announce a break in the broadcast

for the news, but I've edited that out so the music flows (I didn't record the news)
There's a swear/curse word, removed, rather brutally, by the BBC in the

opening stages of "Highway Song" but there was nothing I could do about that!
Otherwise, all I've done is add a fade in and fade out at the ends of the show,

and corrected the slight balance issue (my recorder in the 1980s favored the

left channel slightly) the rest is how it went out all those years ago.
