Technical Notes

[TV sourced footage]

All footage was captured from the original UK TV broadcast

but for "Gay Pride" footage which I re-mastered from an audience video

TV footage was captured in the highest quality possible, with full 

uncompressed PCM sound to which I add some slight fades

to remove voice-overs and the like without loosing the video feed.

Each includes the full performance, plus any introduction.

The DVD was authored with each clip as its own title to 

allow for quick access to each one, 

this does mean there no real chapters as such just titles. 

The selection menus are a little basic due to space issues on

the disc, but do have audio overlays on them.

Remaster notes

[Gay Pride footage]

Single camera shooting from stage front, to the left of the stage.

Great close ups and clear throughout.

The original sound, however, suffered from a lot of audience

noise on the right channel, so I cross faded the left channel

over it at a ratio of 1:10 which bought Kerry up in the mix.

The audience can still be heard, of course, but with Kerry

giving one of the most powerful performances that hardly matters.

Comments

My second compilation from the two longest running charity shows

to feature West End footage is a little shorter than the 2006 Disc

due to the Royal Variety Performance not coming from London so

with only one West End show making the journey.

Therefore I've used footage from other TV shows - and one

outstanding audience shoot - to fill out the disc
